My family doesn't drink but as luck would have it... The turkey takes 4 hours. Bloody Marys, beer or an early Woodford. I have to get into the right frame of mind.

I have to work, then the ice storm is apparently coming. The in-laws are mad the kids are not coming, my parents are mad I'm not cooking. It's a lose lose situation. I'll be doing a Tito's bloody mary as soon as I get out of the job.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

Planning fail and a bit of serendipity. Totally out of worschesteshire, so opened the flavor cabinet up and added a small splash of fish sauce, soy and a few shakes of that's my rub. Nice touch of smoke with the rub. Back in business. -
