Reasonable XL Egg price???

Havent posted in some time. Farm work has had me inundated. What is a reasonable price to expect to pay for an XL?  I have a M which serves SWMBO and I well, and son and DIL.  But for larger family/friends gatherings I would like more capacity. I'm not looking for a low ball price, tho I wouldn't pass that up, just what is a good price?  
  I tried to get involved here again a while back, but that was during the "Devastated" discussion.   Before I could catch up, there was always another 8-10 pages to read. Too entertaining to pass up. You folks outdid yourselves. Did she ever get her egg replaced???   Been reading cook suggestions, just no time to contribute. Hope to change.  Thanks.

    I bought my XL about 4 years ago.  I think I paid $1200 with a plate-setter and some throw ins.  If I had to do it again I would buy at an EGGFEST.  Significant savings and still get warranty, get to enjoy the EGGFEST and learn a few things.

    The cost to get in is nothing compared to the cost to stay in. I got mine for 1200. You already have a M, so I won't tell you about starting to price freezers, vacuum sealers, meat slicers, shatter resistant stem ware, coolers, tumblers, outdoor kitchens, SRF, new patio furniture, patio additions, knives, lighting, tables, lump, smoke wood, aluminum foil, drip pans, adult beverages. Sound systems, video monitors, air controllers, KAB, thermo pens, lighting, therapy, and other things........

    Thanks, that's about the range I was expecting.  And I hear you YukonRon, my eyes have been opened to that phenomenon.  Still always needing that one more accessory.  Next project, add a shed onto our old meat house that is right behind our house, to house eggs, cooker, old but still useful webber, and have a sheltered place to cook.
      Our son got married here on the farm this fall and had the reception in a big tent in our yard.  Wife refinished the side porch where I had been keeping my egg.  It got banished to the wood shed, literally our wood shed.  Really not too bad.  It's a little tight, but I have everything there in one place, good place to cook, except the smoke can be a little overwhelming when firing up the egg.  But need to get it out of there so we can fill it with wood.

    Bought mine a week ago- $1050 for the XL egg, cheapest I found in Houston.  $178 for the nest, and $128 for the plate setter.  Ran the CC for about $1465 with tax for all out the door.  This was all at an authorized dealer.  My local sams has an XL with nest and mates for $1200.  I like my warranty, your mileage may vary.

    I bought mine in March I paid about 2k for xl and nest and place setter and bag of lump and starters and a device for lifting a hot grate and a cypress table, got it delivered and assembled. The nest was a table nest.Since the l've probally spent another 500 on other stuff for it. I fine myself tring to keep up with all folks on the forum. I enjoy it, thats all that counts.
