    Holy crap that's tempting. Especially considering the shape my base is in. My only concern would be loosing the originality. Although the damn thing isn't really worth anything lol! Thanks though.

    I have bought 2 complete ones in the last 5 years at estate sales $10 each.  After doing various repairs, sandblasting metal, re painting and such got about $100 into each and very happy.  Just keep temp under 375F.
