I thought I saw a topic on here about winning a free egg table. I can't find it now. Anyone know where this is. I thought it was in the table forum. I wanted to enter this contest

Seems some threads are cherry picked and buffaloed or deleted. There wasn't one flag on this thread. Not one. Then you have threads with flag after flag and they go on forever. It's complete BS. The cutting board thread lasted and the winner didn't get Jackshit! At least Tim is a contributing member and didn't just all the sudden appear trying to peddle a product. I saw NO HARM in the thread.

Whoa-mods getting too power hungry here?? This forum will become too sterile if that trend amps up going forward. Challenger makes the tables for Green Egg but also makes their own line of tables that frequently are talked about on this forum. Green egg sold wooden tables yet there are all kinds on here as well. Let me start by saying I don't care if someone posts a thread to give away tables, coolers, cookers, food, whatever.
However, this isn't my forum, it's BGE's.

Again, I personally don't care at all, just pointing this out. It was mentioned in one of the prior posts the SEO marketing firm had not made a substantial difference in web traffic and perhaps this contest would help drive traffic to the website. Using the forum to drive traffic to an external site is frowned upon apparently.
