Buffalo Wings with a new rub/sauce combo (pics)

The butcher shop I get my wings from had a new dry rub called "Ty's Cook Shed - Kickin' Original Blend". They also had a new buffalo sauce from the t.v. show "Swamp People". I'd have to say this combo of rub/sauce produced some of the best tasting wings I've had. Cooked them raised-indirect at 400 for about 30-40 minutes. Thanks for looking!
Dusted:

After about 20 minutes I sauced them with the "Swamp People" sauce and put them back on the egg. When I took them off they were lightly sauced again.

Absolutely - these were very traditional in the buffalo flavoring. The dry rub was labeled as their "Spicy" blend and it added just the right amount of heat to the wings. The sauce was different for me because I usually have Moore's Wing Sauce marinade, which is more of an orange color. As you can see the "Swamp People" sauce is more red in color.bgebrent said:Those look great!! @bgebrent - I got them at Wilkes. If you are picking up wings, they'll both be on the shelf right in front of you. They always have different spices and marinades, but for some reason I hadn't seen either of these before. Decided while I was getting wings to give them a shot. I can't wait to use the dry rub on other stuff. Be on the lookout, the dry rub comes in a "Spicy" (the one pictured above) and an "Original". They should have both.
