thanks @nolaegghead - chuck roast is pretty easily available so that'll probably be it.
I think it's a star wars themed party. Would it be tacky to call them "pulled wookie sandwiches?"

Looks outstanding. I need to try that one day.
I haven't seen that one from Lakewood yet. We've started sampling them here at work, and guess what their waste stream smells like. Yup, you got it, beer. Haven't looked over the numbers yet, though.Rowlett, Texas

I think Wookies would be pretty lean. I believe a Nerf would be the appropriate fictional animal.blind99 said:thanks @nolaegghead - chuck roast is pretty easily available so that'll probably be it.

Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg. -
That's an awesome looking sandwich man. I guess the heaviness was describing the sammie and not the amound of pictures!!!
Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ.... -
@smokeypitt cool! I didn't know about nerf. besides, you know what they say about wookie meat, it tastes a little chewy

Why have I never heard of pepper stout beef? Is it similar to drip beef or a smoked chuckie?
Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.

@Hawg Fan yep its a smoked chuckie. Smoked 2 hours. Then added to a pan of onions, bell peppers, garlic, a stout beer. ( I also added red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, beef bullion, Worcestershire.) Covered then cooked till tender enough to pull. About 3 or 4 hours.2-XLs ,MM,blackstone,Ooni koda 16,R&V works 8.5 gallon fryer, express smoker and 40" smoking cajun
