First time I've fired up the egg since before Labor Day...

Decided to keep it simple. Did some dry aged steaks and improved a Brussel sprout & potato hash for a side. Picked up a good bottle of wine for my girlfriend and I to enjoy...

Slowly getting back to normal. Saw the doc today; blood is looking good so I should be able to come off the IV antibiotics on schedule in a few weeks and should be feeling 100% in a few months.

    Hope everyone is doing well...

@hapster How do you like to camera on the 6s versus the 6      Pondering it pretty heavy here but cant decide

I like it... It is an upgrade from the 6, have that as my work phone, but if I had a 6 I would probably wait for the 7, hopefully it will have image stabilization like the + models do now. If you have a 5S, like I did, I would move up

I would be remiss if I did not take the time to comment on how great that plated steak looks.  Wow.

Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.

Hapster, I have been traveling Tons the last couple of months, and my apologies, but this is the first I have seen of you being under the weather. I am hoping you blaze through to a full recovery.
The return meal your posted is phenomenal, as always. The images you captured with the 6 are very impressive. You know me, I enjoy a good bottle (or two, we'll ok a lot) of wine with my meals while cooking and serving. The wine you selected is a very good bottle, and was perfect for the meal.
As always, top shelf my friend. Keep it rocking, get well soon.
