Temp suggestions - hot tub tri tip

I have a tri tip bathing at 131. The plan is to keep it there for four hours. My temp rig is not sous vide quality but accurate to a couple of tenths. Is 131 degrees/four hours a good (and safe) time and temp?
Will throw it on the egg to sear later.

I did this with a flat iron steak and it was the best I ever cooked. Should work the same on a tri tip.
Might be too late for you today, but try it

Yes, 131/4 is safe

Yep, should be totally fine. I did a Tri-Tip Sous Vide for 4 hrs at 128 last week and then seared for 90 seconds / side. Came out like this..

@Jcacavias - what was your searing setup? That looks beautiful for 90 seconds per side...
