Soft shell crabs & snapper. No buffalo tonight.
SGH

Something simple again tonight. A few soft shell crabs and some fresh red snapper steaked out. Just a tip: I start all seafood (except oysters) that I'm going to deep fry by giving it a minimum of a 4 hour soak in whole milk. What milk does to seafood and salt/freshwater fish should be illegal my friends. No special technique, just fish fry, yellow Frenchs mustard, Tony Chacheries and 375 degree peanut oil. I hope that y'all enjoy. And as always, may your hair continue to grow long and shaggy my friends.

Incredible. Could you clarify what you mean by fish fry? I take it to mean flour and corn meal mix - or something else?Coleman, Texas

I'm not bringing you flowers, I'm bringing you fish to fry. Looks fantastic!!! I don't have a fryer and have resorted to using cast iron on the Egg for all my frying, but this has me reconsidering that position. Nicely Done!!!I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

Nice job scottie!
