    I actually agree with Fred.  I've never jumped on the mob wagon though.

    Hate is a pretty strong word. I don't think there are any posts in this that reflect that. In this one anyways. I don't think I have ever bashed BGC in any post. I do however have to question the motive and who may be behind this post as mentioned by a few. I don't wish bashing or anything on anyone on this forum, but "if" in anyway this was to promote site visits, (which I did to have a look at something) then I do think it's the wrong way to go about things. And if this is a troll post against BGC then that is wrong as well. Just my initial thoughts. I have visited the site before and something about the posters handle haD me thinking. But it's pretty far out there.

    Sad if that's true but could be.  I'm still a newbie.  Don't want to buzz saw but why not ask?  I've learned some good stuff from bgc.  @BigGreenCraig thanks for the educational posts, not so much the commercialism but I get that.  Waiting for you.

After a week or two of this, I suggested that maybe he should knock off the hyping of his site, become part of the community and try replying to other people's cooks a bit.

    I know he started on the wrong foot but my point was he continued on it for a long time. He had one account and changed handles then his new account was created in April and he was still being an ass for Eggtoberfest that year so it wasn't just a week or two.

    I think it's kind of funny that people accuse Craig of posting on here for attention, but isn't that really what we all do?  I think we should all join "Narcissist Almost Anonymous" and really delve into what the real issues are here.

    Yeah, okay.  So everyone comes here, directs everyone to his/her blog/website for info/recipes for traffic/revenue?  

    I throw it all on here brother, what I used and how I did it.  I don't reference my blog, or my photography at that.  

    We post to help others, not for personal greed.

    IMO, BGC is all about self-promotion on social media. He uses it quite well and I respect him for that. 

    No one can dispute his enthusiasm for cooking and plating. No can dispute his enthusiasm for himself either. 

    If the Mothership "endorsed" him in some way or another he would ride it until the cows come home. 

    I choose to follow him on Twitter with the thought I might learn something but it's more "look at me", again IMO. I can also choose to unfollow as well.
