    Hey those kids make a cheap/ affordable gizmo that's works pretty good. Even if it is poorly labeled and also a bit tricky to use. I think you have to set up one of the units first or it won't synch up.

    I use mine with the party q and really like it I must say. Kinda like an affordable wifi unit, almost.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one who finds that thing frustratingly hard to use.  I still can't program the temp alarm without looking through the manual and you have to turn one unit on before the other and I always choose un-wisely.

    @wbradking ... when turning the Maverick units on, remember this ... "it's better to give than receive, except with Maverick" ... thus, turn on the receiver first.  Yep, it's a dumb saying, but it at least got me to turn on the wrong unit first.

    @wbradking ... the mnemonic works to turn the correct unit on first ... the 733 has been rumored to drain the battery if not turned off in the same order; receiver first then sending unit. 

    For setting the 732, you have to change over to a Buddist mantra ... it is very calming when you go past the target temp for the third time 'cuz the *&%$%&* receiver only pans up through the temps.

    Someone should start a new thread on what BBQ means in your region/state.  That would be an interesting read.  Just from my travels, it varies quite a bit.
