Best gloves, short & long, for egging

Looking to invest in some good egging gloves. I plan to use my NEW egg for both short cooks and long. Is there a good all purpose general use glove that works best for all cooking or should I get a short pair and a long pair. I'm thinking I need the long ones for those high heat cooks. Tell me which are the best. I'd rather buy once and cry once.

I like the Orca mitt (google), welding gloves are popular thoughLBGE, AR. Lives in N.E. ATL

I really like my 17" Orkas when going deep into harms way. Only trouble is they don't slip over my coat sleeves in the winter. Then I use these Pit Mitts.

I use leather welding gloves. They reach almost to the elbow.

I dislike the silicone gloves as they are too stiff for me and I can't feel what I'm doing. I have these and they are great:

I use welding gloves. Also a really thick pair of rubber gloves to handle hot meat. Also, vinyl gloves from the drug store to apply dry rubs and handle raw meat.Richmond and Mathews County, VA. Large BGE, Weber gas, little Weber charcoal. Vintage ManGrates. Little reddish portable kamado that shall remain nameless here. Very Extremely Stable Genius.

I use the Pit Mitt gloves they are the same as the BGE gloves which I also have for half the price! I have removed a plate setter with them on at about 650* for a few seconds and no issues.XLBGE, MMBGE, CyberQ
