thought I'd grill up a couple of cowboy ribeye steaks tomorrow for the Packer-Steeler game. They were on sale for 10.97/lb. for USDA Prime.

Those are going to be great!---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Well, "spa-Peggy" is kind of like spaghetti. I'm not sure what Peggy does different, if anything. But it's the one dish she's kind of made her own.____________________Aurora, Ontario, Canada

Man, these bad boys are 2 pounds each and at least 3.5 inches thick. USDA Prime. I had planned to do both, one for me and one for my son. No way we can eat all of this. Maybe I should just cook one and share it, as we both like medium rare.Dave - Austin, TX

Thanks for the great idea, went to publix and picked some up last night. Went with the reverse sear and some ABT's for an appetizer.

I only made one of them. Here it is. It had an excellent crust but I over cooked it a little. It was medium and not medium rare. Lessons learned.

That looks fantastic, I went by HEB last night and they had slim pickings, I'll have to go by again before Wednesday.
I'm off 1826 near the hospital, so not far at all.

Wonder if my HEB is having the same sale. Looks like I'm going to go check it out.Midland, TX XLBGE

Tomorrow is the last day (Tuesday). . You need to get there between. 8 and 5. The meat case closes around 7 pm. Get a rain check if they don't have any. Also, they will cut to the thickness you want.Legume said:That looks fantastic, I went by HEB last night and they had slim pickings, I'll have to go by again before Wednesday.
