I believe it's done
hello all I live in KY Bourbon country so I love my makers, love my egg but still love my wife the most -
Cool table, I am jealous, but are you going to put shelves on the bottom two sides or just leave it open? A shelf below the egg would be nice for the plate setter to go when not in use.scottn83 said:I believe it's done

Fill those two holes with a couple of more drawers.

Those spaces will probably be open shelves just not sure what I want to use for the the shelf itself maybe something out of stainless like a wire rack type thing also if i cant settle on that I will buld a few more drawers and drop in there. I actully bought enough handles for two more drawers. The plate setter will fit in the two drawers on the rightLadeback69 said:

Beautiful table! I'm considering a concrete top for my table build. One question I had was heat resistance. I'm not concerned about the ambient heat from the Egg itself, but more about the top of the table. For example, if I took the adjustable rig out to stir the coals, could I set the hot stone, or a hot grid directly on the concrete without damaging it?

No expert here @SaltySam , but I am assuming if I put those things on my concrete patio, it would be fine. So with that logic, it should be ok. I base this answer on speculation and years of never doing this.

That I am not sure. Not really sure what it would do to the polish on the surface.SaltySam said:Beautiful table! I'm considering a concrete top for my table build. @SaltySam If you were really concerned you could pour you maybe a 24 x24 and test it that way

Sometimes the simplest answer is right in front of my face. This might explain why I can't find my keys when I'm holding them, or my sunglasses when I'm wearing them. Sheesh. Thanks for the tip @scottn83
