dont get to excited until i get the building that I want built a 20 x 24 shop just to do my wood working in the one toy I would love to have is a Festool track saw.  I have a jointer but can never seem to get it to do the job its ment to do so squaring the wood can be a process,  If i had the Festool I could square with less of a process

I hear you on the track saw.  Spent 2 months replacing all the woodwork on my second floor.  Got a lot of nice toys but always something missing !  Listen to these yay hoos on this forum- they will give great guidance on clearance for that egg !

As you can see I have added panels to the back .  I plan on putting drawers in the front.  I was wondering if I should leave the space open around the egg for air movement or is it ok to completely filling in the back and sides around the egg ?

couple of more pics got all the side and back panels on today.  Was thinking about making my draw boxes out of cedar and using some plexiglass for the draw bottoms will alot of little holes for drainage.  I plan to have the draw close within the frame hopefully keeping water out of it but I am sure being outside in the wx its going to get some in the drawers. Any thoughts on the plexiglass Idea.

Plex scratches pretty easily. Will look good at the start but not after a lot of use.

If the drawers are going to hold anything even remotely warm may want something else.  Not that you would put a hot plate setter in there but just a thought

    Table looks great- welcome aboard
