i haven't posted a cook in a bit but I went fishing yesterday. Brought home 4 of these trout and they met the egg. Raised direct at 450ish. Inside was smeared with a paste of Garlic, Rosemary, basil, parsley, olive oil salt and pepper. Some lemon wedges and to the grill. My wife made a cucumber, dill, lemon yogurt sauce. All herbs and veggies were from the garden. Only the lemons and potatoes were from a store. Pics in whatever order they post

Trout is some good stuff. I've never tried grilling it like that. I've always dry brined and smoked. Perhaps I'll try grilling it next time. Thanks for posting!NW IOWA

Otter creek (east of I-15 north of panguitch). It was great fishing there was 2 of us and we were on them all day long. We released as many if not more that what we kept.Satch_Q said:Looks delicious. Good size trout, what reservoir? -
Been awhile since I've been down that way. Now I'm thinking it may be worth the drive.

Was my first trip there. There was like 12 people near us and seriously it seemed like someone was always reeling one it. Most were in the 14-20 inch range. We stopped and had lunch in Antimony and I guess the fishing has been hot there all summer long.Satch_Q said:Been awhile since I've been down that way. Now I'm thinking it may be worth the drive. -

Brother I'm glad that she liked them. If yall are coming this year, I have some that I think yall will like even better. I have been playing around with them trying to get them dialed in. I think I have finally got them where I want them.U_tarded said:Thanks Scottie! My wife still talks about the stuffed chicken from brisket camp last year.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

I don't think we are going to be able to. I've got an assistant manager going on maternity leave around that time so it's gonna be hard for me to get away.SGH said:
