1st low and slow (kinda)

made beer can chicken. Tried to do at 250, it was hovering around 225, so I tried to get it up to 250, ended up getting up to 280. I was shooting for a 4 he cook, ended up taking 2 hrs. I had potatoes underneath catching the juices. Chicken was soooo tender and juicy, got rave reviews. In the "beer can" vessel, I added white wine, Rosemary, garlic and lemon juice, rubbed the bird with an orange and herbed butter and sprinkled with Organics steak seasoning.

Looks like a winner to me. Meat and potatoes, it doesn't get much better than that. Solid cook.

Great cook and use of the drippings. Love anything cruising under a chix cook.  Most eggcellent.

As do i^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^. If you ever want to try something a little different brother Cap, cook your chicken under a brisket. Just trust me on this one.

I am sure that would be a home-run.  The challenge is that there is no way I can inhale groceries anywhere close to your league  I do have a food inhaler passing thru the house-hold within a few weeks-may have to give it a shot.  Thanks for the idea.
