Hi,
I am looking to buy a large egg in the Seattle area. I have been quoted about $1300 for the egg itself, nest, mates, convEGGtor and cover.
Any recommendations for where to get one?
Cheers
Adam

Eggfest but it just passed. $8-900 for that setup if I remember correctly. Got mine there 2 years ago price has stayed the same. If you can't wait try Thompsons Home and Hearth in Issaquah and see what kind of package Guy (the owner) can put together for you.Seattle, WA

This dealer on Seattle Craigslist says he has the lowest price guaranteed. Doesn't list prices though. Might be worth a call:

Seattle Craigslist also has a used nest ($50) and mates ($70). I'd offer $40-$50 for the nest and offer $50 for the new mates . You would probably save $2-$300 that way"The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Just got my large setup from Guy at Thompsons (had to...my names Guy as well). I checked with every dealer locally and they seemed to have it all together. Seattle home appliance in Lynwood was cheapest at about 785 for just the egg....not in stock. Seattle home appliance in bothell was about 830 if I remember right. Aqua quip in Redmond was 820 (then was going to charge 150 for a platesetter). Monroe fire place was around 880.SkinnyV said:Eggfest but it just passed. $8-900 for that setup if I remember correctly. keep in mind i was really looking for the egg only as I was building a table, ordering the AR rig from CGS (platesetter not necessary) and figured I'd get other stuff as needed.
ended up with the egg and a few other things from Thompsons.....with the other stuff I bought (thermopen, BGE lump, igrill2, table nest) he gave me the egg for 799.
Also...lots of eggcesories .....and other manufacturers stuff for about 10% less than online.
tough to type on the iPad so if you need any clarification on anything, let me know.
also......welcome!!
LBGE and a bunch of stuff to go with it
