Thats a screaming deal if you're close to Nashville and have the room. I didn't want a table, and you have to be careful with tables as sometimes they aren't finished the same as the boards. They are finished with a coating that shouldn't be cut on. They are typically made for work space, and rolling dough, etc but not cutting.

Well we met at the police station and he was very nice. We ended up talking a bit and he helped me load it up. Will post pics when I get home.

Glad to hear he didn't use the cutting board to make you into a lamp shade like all his other Craigslist victims.......hahahahahaha :s

Amen. I told work when I left that if I didn't show up today to call the police and I was meeting the guy at the police station and his phone number. Better to be a little paranoid than get Taken, amiright?

It was pretty cool until his sister turned into a whore and he's no longer family.
Tell us how you really feel about your ex man, lol. I'm really glad that the block worked out for you.  Can you chop meat on it?  How do you clean it after chopping things on it?

I don't sugar coat much, and call a spade a spade.

Because maple is so dense, you can cut anything on it. I still wont cut poultry on it (poultry just scares me so I'll always have a dedicated board for it.), but it doesn't harbor bacteria like plastic or other surfaces do. Most people wipe with warm water and that's it. I cleaned it really good when I got it with salt and lime.

That's in great shape. I'd really jump on it if I was in the area. I wanted an older one that looked like it had some history and use behind it. But I wouldnt turn that down as it looks brand new.
