Have you had any issues with the gasket in your Pelican Coolers or from the drain plug?
Thank you...
Thank you,

I honestly have not. I have the 95 quart and have had nothing but good luck with it. No gasket or drain plug issues at all.

Coolers are like cars. You can get a lemon with any brand. But Pelican is certainly one of the better built rotomolded coolers out there. I'm sure someone somewhere has had issues with a Pelican. But of all the people that I know that have them, I have never heard anyone complain about them at all. Most, like myself, are 100 percent satisfied with them.

This ^^^^^^ seems to be the common consensus among Pelican owners. I personally do not know anyone who has had any issues with them. Mine has been through heck and back and is still going strong.

If you have any problems with a Pelican item, call their service department.  They are one of the good guys.  It's almost like they haven't had anyone to talk to for a long time.

Agree. Pelican customer service is top notch. I have used their lights as back up when diving for years. The few times that I contacted customer service it was a breeze. However you will probably never have to contact customer service for anything cooler related. They are tanks.  It's good to know that they are their and willing to help if you need them though.

    Thanks everyone...
I purchased the Pelican 35qt and was set to start looking for a deal on a 45qt.
I found a local store that had the 65qt in White but i really want Tan. I really liked the size.
The Pelican is so thick with insulation it almost looks funny in the 35qt size. The weight difference empty between the 45qt and 65qt was my deciding factor. Its not that much more weight for the extra 20qt space
But then again, a super price on a 45qt could change my mind.lol

    Thank you,

I like the tan color as well. My Pelican is white but my Yeti is tan. You don't get near the glare out in the sun from the tan ones as you do the white ones. I know this is minor, but that glare hitting you right in the face when fishing can get aggravating. Again nothing against the white coolers as my Pelican 95 and Igloo max cold are both white. Enjoy that new Pelican my friend.

I have the 45 qt marine white and from the day I got it I've kept ice in it. As it melts down I just add ice kinda like lump in a BGE. I've been most impressed that even on these record high temp days it keeps ice for a long time. Solid quality made product IMHO.
