How much is a Large Egg in the US?

I had to fork out £1400/$2200 for a large egg bundle . It came with a nest and handler, royal mahogany shelves, plate setter, cast iron searing grid, 9kg/20lb bag of BGE lump, and a ventilated cover.

Or do I not want to know?

Here in Canada, well Ontario at least, you can get just the large egg for $1200. I bought it as a kit that included egg, plate setter, nest, side tables, ash tool, bag of BGE lump and starter cubes for $1649. I had called at least four different dealers in my area and they all were selling just the egg for the same price. All the other add-on's ranged within a $10-$20 difference. Out of the dealers I called, only the one was offering the package deal. Overall, I think I saved $100 by getting all those things as a package. Also, the three week waiting time just about killed me!

Bought a LBGE in Charleston this weekend. For ~$1,150 the package included - the Nest, Side Shelves, Plate Setter, Ash Tool, 20 lbs coal, starter cubes, and rib rack.

In Texas I paid $1250 large,nest,plate setter ,20 pound bag BGE lump delivered and assembled. Side shelves included. Tax not include. Worth every penny.
