We're grilling up 2 split lobsters tonight, wondering if anyone has actually used the "butter and cream" basting method from the official BGE cookbook; or if you use a different approach! Would love your thoughts!

Florida or Maine? Both EGGcellent with this recipe. Florida lobster season starts the last Wed and Thur this month. Watch out Buggies!

That's their recipe. If I'm being honest I think I lIke a traditional lobster boil better, it gets way more flavor in the meat (we do beer, old bay, onion, lemon, peppercorns, and bay leaves in the boil). The BGE lobster was smoky but otherwise bland. Oysters were killer though.
