SWMBO does around 60+% of the "routine shopping".  My 40% is fraught with danger.  :peace:   She has learned to always check at Costco and Sam's (business shopping, around once every 3-4 months) for briskets.  Get the Sam's call-"They only have choice and they aren't very floppy."  My reply-"I was expecting the call-and no we don't need anymore".  
Better to be lucky than good any day.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

    Wow. I've got my son trained to recognize good briskets. But I may never get my wife trained that way.

    I am especially glad that she takes an interest in brisket (she enjoys the end-result of the cook) as she doesn't balk at the occasional SRF brisket buy and cook.  But then...
