@hapster , please share a brand name for that tonic water. I am also trying to ween myself off artificial sweeteners and HFCS. Lagunitas Maximus and a FatHead Head Shrinker after a very aggravating day on the golf course. The Head Shrinker is outstanding.
Rant: The course was slammed with people. Two groups in front of me was a twosome of a father and his young teenage daughter playing by themselves. He was using the course as their personal, private teaching center. We were backed up to three groups a hole. I was booked to play 18, but quit after 7 and demanded a raincheck for another round. There was no ranger on the course to be seen and that particular group wasn't letting anybody play through. After sitting on the tee for 15 minutes every hole I had had enough. Easily one of the most aggravating days I've had on the golf course in years. Still getting fired up typing this.
And they wonder what's wrong with golf these days.

I decided to give into the hype and crack my first bottle of not your fathers root beer...absolutely delicious! So delicious I decided to check carbs and calories.
