i just had to break into my elfster stash. I mixed a little mustard with the strabanero so it wasnt too sweet. Cut a loin into chops and fired away. Took a load of em to the neighbors. I havent even tried em yet. His wife sent me a message saying they were to pretty to eat.

Never have thought any food was too pretty to eat but they do look damn good.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

They look awesome Shane! I'm not sure how you walked away from them to do yard work. You have way more will power than I do my friend!

Of all the great stuff I've seen from the exchange that strawbanero might be the most exciting. You've got to let us know how it tasted! Really nice looking cook here; congrats.
That plowboys yardbird is MONEY! I've been using it on boneless ham steaks from Costco as appetizers and it's a perennial favorite!

I have to agree with Black_Badger and others....the Strawbanero is one of the most interesting items I've seen in the gift exchange. I found a recipe yesterday and will make some for the 4th celebration. Can't wait, I can imagine the flavor combination now !!!!!!
