Indirect, 275 for 3.5 hours or until it gets thru the stall. Then put it in foil pan with 2 cups beef broth, 1 onion sliced, mushrooms, and 4 cloves of garlic. Cooked until IT of 210. Salt and pepper only for the roast. Got a nice bark. Took leftovers the next day and warmed with provolone cheese on sourdough bread.

Sounds great! I love a pulled beef sammich.Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.

Your recipe looks pretty similar... -
I just came across this after @lkapigian mentioned pit beef. Looks like pit beef and pulled beef are now on the short list of things to make.

Yes. Tasted fabulous. It was tender as well. I will definitely do it again.Blue Ridge, GA

@EagleIII I think some peppers would do very well with a roast. I was thinking as I was devouring it some heat would make it even better.Blue Ridge, GA

If the good wife willing I'm going to try that this week end. Thanks for sharing.

I'd like to know if a chuck roast goes by another name in Canada, I look but never see any at the grocery. Do I need to seek out a butcher?Barrie,Ont.,Canada.

After a quick Google try a blade roast? Never heard it called that. Makes sense for I think it comes off the shoulder.Blue Ridge, GA
