@4Runner The William Heavenhill was very good, a distillery exclusive I believe. I would've have like to get a bottle, but from the small tasting it didn't do enough for me to warrant the money. That being said, if I do the Bourbon Trail again, I now know to budget for distillery exclusive bourbons, and they can cost $100-$300 a bottle. They were selling the William Heavenhill for around $130/bottle, Heaven Hill Select Stock around $140, and Elijah Craig around $250. The tasting cost around $20 for all 4. My brother was kind enough to get me the Select Stock for my 40th coming up next month, we liked that more than the others, seemed more distinctive with the cognac barrel finish. We got upset when a girl poured, yes poured, her Elijah Craig 23 year old into a waste bucket. I'm not sure she even offered it to her boyfriend.Large BGE, Mini BGEMorgantown, PA

I am done with diet sodas. Guy I work with went to urgent care the other day and found out he had a kidney stone. He then went to the ER. Both doctors asked him how much alcohol he drinks and he said a couple diet cokes and bourbon a night. Been drinking multiple 30oz yeti's full of Adam's ale... Having a coffee now. Been weening myself off the diet crap, soda, ice tea etc for a while now. Found a tonic water that is all natural, even their low sugar stuff is free of any of the typical diet chem...

I've had the stones a couple of times. Sweet tea is the #1 culprit. Any dark colored sodas are problematic so it's not just a diet soda issue.Lit said:

@hapster , please share a brand name for that tonic water. I am also trying to ween myself off artificial sweeteners and HFCS.
