I was given a Spitjack injector for Father's Day and was curious which meats/cooks folks inject.

That's a pretty skookum injector. I use a cheapie for pork butts, can't recall where I got this recipe.
2c apple juice
1c pineapple juice
1/4c salt
1/2c brown sugar
1 Tbsp hot sauce
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Mix in a saucepan and heat if need be to dissolve the sugars and salt. Let cool overnight. This will do 2X7# butts. Have also done this with apple cider vinegar rather than pineapple juice. Much of the injection runs out, so you need lots (well at least I do)Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad! -

I use peach nectar mixed with the rub I'm using on pork butts.

Anyone inject brisket? I did a flat only from Costco the other week and it came out dry and was wondering if injecting would help.Basking Ridge, NJ - XL with KAB

I inject brisket with butchers prime brisket injection. I have done butts before and had good results, however it is not as necessary imo. Nice way to add flavor profiles to your cook. I have injected whole chickens too.
