I read on Facebook today is National Egg Day.  What will you be cooking tonight.  I am thinking either pizza or brats.  Not sure yet, depends on how much time I have and how soon the family wants to eat.

Gonna be grilling up some shrimp tonight.  Having shrimp fettucini alfredo for dinner tonight and will have some leftover shrimp for salads later this week.

If today is "National Egg Day" this is what I ate. Not really post worthy but was going to eat it either way

I used to install water transmission mains and had one come in just to see what it was all about.   I let him do his show and said I would let know if I was interested or not.  They try to scar you with a bunch of gibberish.  Where I was living has a pretty good water system and knew there was nothing wrong with the water.

We had the last of the leftovers from the last pork shoulder, that was easy late after I proved a point tonight.

Long story short: a month or so ago we got an empty vile in the mailbox asking us to participate in a study of our water. My wife jumped at the chance to help them with their study. I laughed. So last week she got a call (because she gave them her number lol) stating that they wanted to come and discuss the results of the study. I laughed less because I didn't want my evening ruined by some one selling _____.  But she insisted. So tonight he showed up and damn if I could have videoed it. He had a kit complete with viles, dye, filters posters the whole bit. I just grinned, as after a few beers I figured this a good learning experience for miss helpful. She did try several time to stop him, but I insisted we needed the whole show. After he walked out, she was livid, and demanded a good answer why I made him finish. "So that I don't have to go through this again" I said.

She's not talking to me now.
Exact same thing happened to us a few months ago. Wife kept insisting because we got a "free" $25 Applebee's gift card. 2 hours of my life I can't get back. But if I want to install a $5,000 water treatment system I know where to go!

Most cities will test your water for free and they aren't trying to sell you something.
