Anyone tried Montreal style steak seasoning as brisket rub?

    Yes. It's good. I usually use it with a little kosher salt.

  •  Haven't tried on a brisket but in hamburgers it is awesome.

    I use it a a TON of things, including chicken when I smoke it for making chicken salad.

    Sookie....the Montreal Chicken Seasoning is also a good product by McCormick. I love the steak on beef, but find their chicken Seasoning better on Chicken.
