How to achieve this setup?

Using my Large Egg, I want to achieve a setup that includes a CI griddle at felt level sitting over a half moon deflector, while the other side is a regular steel grid sitting slightly lower. I know this setup can be done using the divide and conquer system on the Kamado Joe. Is there a BGE equivalent using something from the CGS or BGE accessories? At the very least, can I get the griddle and the steel grid at the same level, but with a half moon deflector sitting below the CI griddle (with the griddle at felt level)? Here's a photo that shows what I am trying to achieve, without the stone heat deflector included:

The KJ system fits the Large Egg. Buy it and use it.Houston (Clear Lake) TX

I would have 2 Eggs and run the griddle at the felt line on one and the grate on the other down low.Joe - I'm a reformed gasser-holic aka 4Runner Columbia, SC Wonderful BGE Resource Site: http://www.nakedwhiz.com/ceramicfaq.htm and http://www.nibblemethis.com/ and http://playingwithfireandsmoke.blogspot.com/2006/02/recipes.html

Are you using the shadowed griddle as a warmer and the other side as a direct grill? If so, just another reason to keep the gasser.....Delta B.C. - Whiskey and steak, because no good story ever started with someone having a salad!

@dcc that solves a lot of problems! Thanks for the info.
@4Runner - I like the way you think, but it's not in the budget.
@Skiddymarker - I'm planning to use the griddle for breakfast-type items and difficult to grill vegetables and the grid for grilling at the same time. Think of something like grilling pineapple and then throwing it on the griddle to make pineapple upside-down cornbread cakes. Never owned a gasser. -
It's not cast iron but I have the half moon raised grid that I do just what you are describing. This is just a random pic from the internet because I'm not near mine to take a pic.

know what you mean, I tried this with an old stone I cut in half for reverse sear, the MBGE doesn't have the space to get the arrangement I wanted. I use the gasser for the griddle.
I looked awile ago a the KJ with a LBGE, the D&C is a slick set-up.
