Our sons Little League games were cancelled today due to rain so a lazy day at home. As the rain stops and the skies clear my wife looks over and says "isn't it about time you cooked some ribs again?" So here we go , quick trip to the store then fire up the Egg. Invited the in-laws over and lazy day to family day. Got to play with some action hero's, watch my son take on his grandparents in some hoops and a great meal with the fam.First attempt at turbo ribs and they were a hit. 350 indirect went about 3-3.5hrs. served with potato salad and beans. Great day , the little man never even made it out of his PJs. as I sat down I realized we had no plated pics. My wife said I was just going to have to try it again

My favorite kind of day. This is what it's all about. Good looking ribs too.

We too were cancelled due to rain. I only wish my wife would request ribs. In fact, I really wanted ribs today!

    Nice looking cook!

@theyolksonyou thanks, this is the first time I have ever heard those words come out of her mouth! I was caught off guard but I recovered.

Awesome looking grub for sure. Sadly it flooded here too most of the day. That's a beautiful cooking area you have there as well brother river.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

Just asking about your time. I do turbo ribs all the time at 350 and takes about an hour and forty mins. Yours do look good. Love that back yard.

@Mickey I have never cooked them other than slow, I initially set my vent and the egg settled at 250°. And ran there for 1.5 then bumped it up so I guess it's a kinda turbo. I wasn't sure about time But they ended right at dinner time. I'll prob run 350° the entire cook next time and see how they do, thanks

Todd this is how I do them. Baby Back Turbo Ribs (No flip)
    350 indirect for 1hr 40 min.
Before cooking: Pull membrane , rub, mustard, rub.
Put on at 350 and leave the hell alone for about that time. This is called turbo ribs and I will never go back to 4 and 5 hour ribs.
Note: with or w/o mustard works .. I like Bad Byron's Butt Rub / I like cherry & pecan mix for wood.
If you want sauce: opened 15 min early and sauce. I like the sauce on the table.

Thanks @Mickey those look great. Two questions you rub then mustard then rub again? Also are those indirect or direct? Thanks for the advice
