Delmonico Steaks - Reverse sear

Another batch of steaks from local Tap Root farms in Franklin, TN. Decided to go reverse sear. Pulled at 115 deg after going indirect at 250. Then seared at 500 for 2 mins each side.
Turned out great!

Outstanding! The reverse sear is my go to steak method and use it just about every week. You may want to get a spider if you do not have one but that sear looks mighty fine.Milton, GA.

@Hunter1881 we purchased direct from the farm. i want to get a 1/2 or 1/4 cow once i get enough freezer space.... but until then you can purchase "family packs" that have a wide variety.Franklin, TN - (1) LBGE and a cooler full of beer

In cooking, often we implement steps for which we have no explanations other than ‘that’s what everybody else does’ or ‘that’s what I have been told.’ Dare to think for yourself.
