Chorizo Pecan Jalapeño Poppers

In my constant pursuit of the perfect jalapeño popper (ABT) I created potentially my favorite so far this weekend.
I pan fried some pork chorizo, drained it and added it to a block of cream cheese. The warm chorizo softens the cream cheese nicely. Then I always add one of our honey rubs but the Deez Nuts Pecan is the best for this IMO.
Indirect at 275 for 1 hour (or until the bacon looks perfect).
Here is the detailed recipe - Deez Nuts Chorizo Jalapeño Poppers

Post prep, pre-smoke.

Gettin right on the BGE.

Bam! These are delish! I left one open to show the mixture.
