By blind luck I managed to order a new Thermapen in brown before they were discontinued by ThermoWorks at $15 off the normal price. Can't wait to start using my new essential accessory!

Never saw a brown one before looks good. Being from Saskatchewan though green IS the color.

Read the disclaimer. The reason it is discontinued and cheaper is because they found the brown one's to be slower in reading temps.

It's not that the Browns are slow, it's just that the red ones are the fastest.

Sasknortherner had to get that color - It's the only color available in Sask. Otherwise a bunch of linebackers from the Roughriders would show up at the door.
