Two nights in a row on the Mini Max. Stopped on the way home and grabbed a couple of ribeyes. Plated with brussel sprouts, parmesan pasta, and cheddar biscuits. Also pictured is a Deschutes Fresh Squeeze IPA.

It was a perfect 70 degrees today. Wife and I sat out on the patio and enjoyed our meal while some Jack Johnson played over the stereo. Great meal, and a very overdue, relaxing evening. I can definitely get used to this.
Unfortunately it'll be thunderstorms all day tomorrow and then some. We better have good weather all next weekend for the Masters is all I'm saying!!

My first trip to Augusta was last year and I wasn't impressed with anything outside of the gates. Inside though, speechless! Similar to going to East Lake GC for the Tour Championship...not much to write home about outside the gates.johnkitchens said:

How quickly is the MM ready to cook on after lighting?
-
Great looking meal right there!Which came first the chicken or the egg? I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
-
It depends greatly on lighting method. For direct cooks like this for steaks, pretty quick and I'm not using a weed burner or torch.Monaarts said:How quickly is the MM ready to cook on after lighting?Steve

How did you like the Santa Maria rub? I was actually a little disappointedFiring up the BGE in Covington, GA
-
I think it's a good rub, just not for steaks. There was too much heat from the chili's for my liking on a steak. The heat would have been fine on a different meat.jonnymack said:How did you like the Santa Maria rub? I was actually a little disappointedSteve
