Question for Small owners

I just set my small up and I love it! I have a couple of questions though, what size pizza stone can I use in this? Does anyone out there use a 12in stone or is that to big? And is a woo and stone better than a platesetter? Any input would be great thanks?

Use a 12 inch stone, works just fine! Can't comment on the woo... Enjoy your small!

Woo + 10" stone is definitely better than platesetter. I would not use anything larger than 10" for the indirect piece in the woo.

A 12" stone for the lower stone I think would restrict airflow too much. I've done pizza with the woo at 2 10" stones (one on bottom crossbars, one on grid that is on top of woo) with good results.

I use the ten inch indirect stone in both my medium and my small so just guessing but I'd think a 12 inch stone might restrict airflow a little to much. I'm sure others will weigh in shortly.

I feel the woo and stone is more versatile then the plate setter but they both can serve their purposes.

Another vote for woo and 10" stone over the platesetter-but I was influenced by @DMW's suggestion, but one I will highly endorse.  Of course, I have no eggsperience with a larger stone.

So if I go woo and 10" stone what do you all recommend for a pizza stone?

Another 10 inch stone like @DMW suggested above is a possibility. I don't even use an indirect piece for pizza, just put the stone on top of the grid and fire away.

    .

I really like my Small BGE and Woo Combo's.
12" stone was to large as the lower indirect piece for me.
    10" lower works great.
