Well I just got 2 bags of OO not even tried it yet. Good thing I liked the RW I just got at the same time. I'd trade with someone A bag of OO for RW if they wanted. Live in FL.

Grabbed 15 bags of OO from BBQ Outfitters here in Austin on the way home. $9.99/bag, the guys at the store were not sure what they will do now. I know they sold a lot of OO...

Is that Rolls a swivel propulsion head?  I'm not very familiar with boat/ships.

Sorry @Mickey - there's no way you are keeping @henapple away from the PBR now. Hope your project survives.

@SGH here is the TUG I want, but would need your money to afford. Also a few I enjoyed in Maine this summer.

Salado TX & 30A  FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd.

  • @ SGH. I am on a ny tug and have been working in the Gulf of Mexico for about 6 months now.  It's nice to see one of the heavy hitters are in the industry.  I use to run a headboat out of Long Island, and commercial fish.  It was getting tougher to make a good living with all the new  regulations.  It was time to make the move about 3 years ago.  Like u said early I wish I had gotten into this field when I was 20.  But u can't turn the clocks back.  Ps I have been egging about 2 years and watching the forum.  This forum is great with a lot of great people and  awesome information.
  • Was that product that good ? And if it was why?  Haven't tried it and guess I won't be.
  • I had gotten a few bags from firecarft it burns hot long.    Very  neutral.  Just as good as RW.   It's sad they are going out of business.   Guess sales will be up for RW.

@SGH no need to apologize.   I'm not a big fan of that off topic button.  I think it sometimes prevents people from taking about common interests.   Look at how many people started talking about tug boats after you answered the question "where were you when OO went out of business?"  Carry on and enjoy.

I bought all the OO this morning at the only store in Tulsa that sells/sold it.

Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.

  • @henapple - I'm with you brother. Had a friend that would pick up 10+ skids every year and bring it all the way back up north. With covering all his costs it was around .62 a pound. Now I have to go back to way higher prices or RO..... Pass the bottle brother.......

This is like the ammo hoarding of '10.  I can see it now.  People will throw the ammo out of the safe and put their OO in its place.

@THEBuckeye I got the same email yesterday morning. I ordered the night before they stopped selling it. Just got a voicemail from FireCraft. It won't be shipping. They don't have anymore. Looks like I'll never get to try it.
  • I grabbed ten bags this morning. That will get me by til I can order some rockwood.
