Last Weekend's Cook

Options
I was in a celebratory mood, looking forward to watching my Wildcats finish off a 31-0 regular season, and wanted to give it the type of meal it deserved.  So I cooked a 12lb packer (started Friday night), and then threw on a couple slabs of ribs for good measure.  All were finished right at game time Saturday afternoon.  I like to think I did my part in bringing home the win.  Here are a few pics from the cook.

So how you gonna bring it home for the SEC and NCAA games??  Most eggcellent cook right there.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Very nicely done! Didn't do the ribs but did a brisket Saturday into Sunday. I think I didn't use enough pepper to set up a nice crust. Yours looks very nice
I raise my kids, cook and golf.  When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.
Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

Most excellent cook and spread.  I noticed you have good taste in BBQ potato chips as well, lol.  Got to be close to Cincy?!

That's a lot of good eats!  Congrats on the flawless regular season for the Wildcats!

Any road will take you there if you don't know where you're going.

Good question.  No clue.  It'll likely include quite a bit of bourbon though...

Thanks! My mother-in-law lives in NKY.  So we get Grippos from time to time.  Damn things are addicting.

Thanks.  Looking forward to the tourney...I think.  Here's to hoping Arkansas gets back to their rightful place in the SEC.  It's always more fun when you guys are good, and you look to be on the right track.

That is some fine looking Q!

Which came first the chicken or the egg?  I egged the chicken and then I ate his leg.
