Metamorphosis Beef Ribs Into Beef Barley Stew

In the beginning there were 8 lbs beef ribs cut into 2 inch pieces. 
 

After an overnight marinade in soy sauce 
 

They went on the large BGE indirect 275F for 2 hours 
 

Then they went into a 9 qt DO where they were joined with some friends to spend the next 3 hours at a lite simmer. 


 

The last half hour some barley was added and 9 quarts of stew appeared.
