Simple Simple Friday Cook...

Happy it's the weekend...

Nothing crazy (cooking wise) tonight... doing a pork roast, some instant mashed potatoes, and some canned green beans...

The pork will be done raised indirect... The rest was the wife's idea :)

About to pour an adult beverage, fire up the egg and stick, and wave bye-bye to this past week

Pics later

Hope you all have fun kicking off your weekends!

Sounds good to me. We're having a simple linguine or something along those lines
I'll stop back by later to check it out. Enjoy Hap.

Hap - if you really want to "wave bye-bye" to the week, perhaps a Blanton's is in order?

Haven't had that yet... And it's too late to be driving to get some. A bourbon or rye pick up is in the cards for tomorrow

It's nice to see someone else who enjoy's Tito's!  I went from a  loyal Belvedere fan to drinking Tito's exclusively.

You're my hero. Love the food. Love the stick. Love the scotch. Cheers!
  • Great looking cook, awesome news, the Tigers signed Joba again for another year and apparently he has a bonus in his contract if he wins the Cy Young. Pretty sure a setup man has never come close to that but that's why we love Joba.

@hapster - great cook as usual.
@paqman - how's that special reserve? Never had it before (only the regular single barrel).

@Mattman3969 - I tend to go for the high quality stuff... just ask SWMBO :)

@Walt2015 - Post ahead.... no need to upgrade.  :)

@bweekes - I cannot compare it with "regular" Blanton because I never tasted it.  I know nothing about bourbon but I can tell you that this one is really good.  I first got a taste of it about 2 years ago at a Christmas party with friends.  There was 5 or 6 other brands that I was able to taste that night and this one stood out.  I got the bottle as a birthday gift last year.  Fortunately, knowing the bottle price tag, I don't drink a lot... It only gets out on special occasion and you created one! :) I enjoyed it.
