Happy it's the weekend...
Nothing crazy (cooking wise) tonight... doing a pork roast, some instant mashed potatoes, and some canned green beans...
The pork will be done raised indirect... The rest was the wife's idea
About to pour an adult beverage, fire up the egg and stick, and wave bye-bye to this past week

Great looking cook, awesome news, the Tigers signed Joba again for another year and apparently he has a bonus in his contract if he wins the Cy Young. Pretty sure a setup man has never come close to that but that's why we love Joba.I raise my kids, cook and golf. When work gets in the way I'm pissed, I'm pissed off 48 weeks a year.Inbetween Iowa and Colorado, not close to anything remotely entertaining outside of football season.

@bweekes - I cannot compare it with "regular" Blanton because I never tasted it. I know nothing about bourbon but I can tell you that this one is really good. I first got a taste of it about 2 years ago at a Christmas party with friends. There was 5 or 6 other brands that I was able to taste that night and this one stood out. I got the bottle as a birthday gift last year. Fortunately, knowing the bottle price tag, I don't drink a lot... It only gets out on special occasion and you created one!
