1. The dealer could offer classes or How To's which would prevent them from coming to this website. (Side note: You can also learn many recipes in this forum..there's no need to buy BBQ books from dealers)

2. At a quick glance you see a bunch of established people who are friends and joke with others.  Some people can jump right in and get things rolling, others may see the forum as not to welcoming.

Either way im glad I found this forum for the simple fact of all the accessories that are out there that I was unaware of.
