@Dyal_SC Might not be the prettiest, but damn that's one that I seriously wanna try!
-
@paqman I am totally doing these more often, might be my new thanksgiving meal.

The only reason I asked for only two pics was that the last throwdown (steaks) became sooo clogged down due to the massive amounts of pictures in one thread.jls9595 said:next throw down may need to include more pics of prep, ect.

I agree, the egg and plated are good, but definitely take extra to let me see later lol. -
maybe just one more? Prep, Egg, and plated? It really depends on what it is though. If it's just a steak the prep isn't that involved. The prep pics on these really add more to it in my opinion. Just thinking out loud here, no complaints whatsoever. In Manchester, TNVol For Life!

Just another thought is next time ask that people only attach the thumbnails using "attach file" rather than inserting them. This means peeps will have to click on each pic to see them, but at least the whole page won't get bogged down.Jeremiah said:next throw down may need to include more pics of prep, ect.

Oh. My. God. These are some fabulous cooks! I really want to bone a chicken myself now!
Great work, folks. Bookmarked so I can steal these later.

GalanteNate_OneEa said:@blind99 that looks damn good. I have a soft spot for italian.
thanks for the compliments @galantenate_oneea and @ozzie_isaac -- you're right, the pix on the egg were good for proof of cooking on the egg but not much else.@galantenate_oneea maybe the next throwdown can have a limit of 4 photos or something like that. it's probably a good idea otherwise people like @hapster and @cazzy and @tarheelmatt will crush us with their photo skills. and @cazzy gets upset at "pic heavy" threads

Anyhow it was an awesome throwdown, and I hope I can do the next one.

Lol upset...not so much. Its just kinda silly to tag them that way since almost every thread has a lot of pics. Tagging the subject with "no pics" when that applies actually adds value.Just a hack that makes some $hitty BBQ.... -
Here's both of mine. Pics only. Already described the stuffing on the official thread.

Bacon one was crazy good! The weave held it together after tightly wrapping in cling film overnight in the frig and then a 20 min flash freeze right before the egg. Time consuming though.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL

I already posted all my pics. I had to let my cook rest for a long time, let the juices re-absorb and stuff. If you bone a chicken for longer than 4 hours, please call a doctor.+++++++++++++++++++++++++++Austin, Texas. I'm the guy holding a beer.

I think this was probably my first and last try at boning (or de-boning) a chicken. I've found a new supplier for chickens.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER -
