Did a brisket flat last night, forgot to post it.

Had a just under 6 lb. flat in the freezer and decided I could use some more practice. Injected with a simple injection and fired the egg up to 250 indirect with some post oak I had.
Kids brought the grandkids by for a visit and arrived just in time for dinner. Strange how that works out. Well the brisket must have bee good, it got devoured. I have to admit it was mighty tasty. No one asked for BBQ sauce and none was needed.

^^^^^+1 how much wood did you use. I also did a brisket but not as much smoke ring as yours.

2 cups beef stock1 tsp salt1 tbl worchestire1 tbl good bbq rub1 stick butterSimmer 30 min.Inject when cooled.

That's the best looking flat I've seen in a while. Looks incredibly juicy. Nice job!L x2, M, S, Mini and a Blackstone 36. She says I have enough now....eggAddict from MN!

Thank you, it was mighty tasty. Only had 6 slices leftover for 4 adults a 2 kids eating. Wife and I split them for our lunches. Wife texted me with OMG this brisket is so good.
