Prime rib cooking help please

Happy New Year to all,
We are cabin camping in Florida and did not want to transport BGE. We are cooking a 13lb standing rib tonight for dinner on a 22.5" weber using kingsford briquettes, charcoal baskets on both sides, roast positioned in center. Any help on approx cooking times at approx. 300 degree grate temp would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Can't help with specifics as I no longer have my weber and related cooking info but the below link may help you sort this out:http://playingwithfireandsmoke.blogspot.com/1996/03/beef-standing-rib-roast-prime-rib.html Once you get the length past the radius of the roast the duration of cook doesn't change much.Good luck and as long as you are monitoring the finish temp you should be fine. Prob 15-20 min per lb? Have some good thermometers nearby and keep a close eye, and consider putting some aluminum foil heat shields between the roast and the briquettes.Chicago, IL - Large and Small BGE - Weber Gasser and Kettle
