Santa got me an XLBGE for Christmas.

I must have been good this year, I finally received a BGE . I ordered the adjustable woo rig from the ceramic grill store and just hung up the phone with Melissa from Covers by MEL and ordered a cover. I have a nest for my egg. I really like the ash basket someone posted earlier. Question, do you guys name your eggs? If you do, might I get some ideas on what to name this big beautiful egg of mine??

Welcome aboard and congradulations on the new egg. As to the naming. To me, a smoker is a very cherished item. I have and always will name them. All mine are dubbed "Unit" followed by a number of no significance or particular importance. Example- Unit #7, Unit #6 and so on.

If I ask for another grill, smoker, bbq, etc. the wife is gonna kill me. I had to get rid of the GOSM for the Weber Smokey Mountain. I am liking the egg, rock steady temps on the two little cooks I have done, jerk chicken and some wings on Sunday.
