  • @anton - take some pics for those of us who haven't been! If you shop at other discount places (Sam's, Costco, BJs), see how the prices compare. There are a lot of us who are interested...!

  • Just be sure to be careful in RD!  It's VERY easy to spend a ton of money; but it's oh so worth it.

@Eggcelsior, I am a default Raider fan by birth, it's one of those things that happens when you are born and raised in the East Bay area.I however, don't give two sh**ts about sports, never really have been a fan, I always followed and admired pro skateboarders, BMX'ers, and Supercross, I'm more of a X-games sports enthusiast. But, to each his own I always say.

I am just not a fan of downtown Oakland either.

Just got back from a weeks vacation, and mine was in the mail too...

Went to RD this morning (we have 2 in San Diego).  Very impressive and will definitely buy meat there when I have to grill for a large gang.  Unfortunately, most of the time I'm egging for two and most of the stuff at RD is just too big.

Now having said that, they currently have a great deal on New York strips and rib eye steaks and we got a box of each. Got a great price on a wedge of asiago cheese too.

So we'll go back often, but will probably stick with Costco/Sam's Club/Local butcher for most egg grills.

  • I frequent the High St location, more like Alameda than Oakland.  Easy in and out off the 880.

Brother if you are in the market for a high end cooler, your KCBS membership will get you 10% off of Brute coolers. To each their own, but I like Brute better than some off the other big names. Just thought that I would share.

Actually, I thought they were but when we got them home we found that they were just refrigerated. So we left two out and froze the rest.
