@DMW, thanks. I have 2 of this year's version. I can't taste jack right now due to a sinus infection. Sigh.DMW said:Keep in mind this is following a Mad Elf followed by some mixed nuts as a palate cleanser...I like it. I had it last year and not sure I remember it. I saw some crazy "brag" pictures that the chicago beer group was posting last weekend. That's why we can't have nice things!tjosborne said:@eggcelsior check out what I seen on beeradvocate. Someone has too much money.

Around here (Pennsylvania), its not even just a questions of money, but also time. Most stores have a limit on how much you can buy. I love Goose Island Bourbon County, but I don't have the time or patience to drive all over to "maybe" find it. While I did get a case of the Bourbon County Stout (Pennsylvania beer laws), and would like to get some of the other varieties, but I don't feel like driving all over to find them.YEMTrey said:

This new beer I saw - it's called Not your father's root beer by Small Town Brewery - pretty strong for a beer, but creamy and good.
-
@Hondabbq - My favorite apple drink is this stuff called Samuel Smith's organic apple cider - it's much lower in sugar than other ciders and it's got a bit of bite to it.

Goose Island Festival Ale. @caliking how is the Scotch?

Love it, been waiting on Sumpin Extra and Wild to come out.Jacksonville FL -
Quite nice. Pretty mellow and not as astringent as some scotch can be. I've had the Aberlour 12 before, but a long time ago.Eggcelsior said:Goose Island Festival Ale. @caliking how is the Scotch?

Stone Master of Disguise for the Steelers game. Supposed to be a blonde stout beer. Pretty good, has a strong coffee flavor for a "lighter" beer.
