After a devastating Husker loss on Saturday We needed this Bronco win. What a game!!!
So, friends drink a victory drink for me (My bride has cut me off :)) ).
Started at PetsMart as LiliAnn was beginning to smell like a stray.
Tonight's supper. Chicken quarters seasoned with kosher salt, cracked pepper, Italian parsley and cilantro. Cooked raised direct with RW and one chunk of black cherry wood at 300℉. ABTs with Philly cheese, moz, parmesan and cheddar. And finally baked Sweet potatoes at 400℉.

    Love the pics and especially the Husker bottle opener. With the way our team has played the past 2 weeks, I'm sure the opener has been used a lot- similar to mine. Made chicken bombs on the egg today to cheer me up after the FB loss and the men's BB loss in OT last night.

    Sorry about the Bug Eater's lossing, but I was cheering for the Fish to beat the Broncos. Now it is a big must win for the Chiefs on Sunday against your team. The food does look good though.

    She's my buddy. Poor lady had to wrangle LiliAnn to trim her nails. It was quite amusing to watch. She kept asking if she lets me do it and I respond "ya with no issues". I sat next to her and my baby girl calmed right down. :o3

    NPHusker, I too have suffered from a spouse who prematurely says, "you're done. Go to bed." Apparently, replying with, "YOU go to bed, I'm just getting started" is the incorrect response to her demand. I have since added that factoid to the database.

    I took some Jabs at Brisket_Fanatic a few weeks ago when the Gophers ripped his Hawkeyes. Why? It doesn't happen very often. :(( (In fun) Same with Nebraska. We get dreaded Wisconsin next weekend. I have a feeling the party might be cut short next weekend. Would love to see the Gophers win the axe!

    @GATraveller‌ I love regular bacon vs turkey bacon. Wife doesn't eat pork. However, I would normally do a batch with her turkey bacon and one with regular bacon. I didn't have any defrosted so this is what we rolled with. B-)

    School? The Chiefs couldn't even found one if they were lead there and they have gotten worse in the last two weeks. They couldn't even beat the Raiders. If they lose to the Cardinals it over. When does spring training start for baseball. At least my Tigers are in the SEC Championship Game again, but is going to be a tough one. With a running game now Denver is looking good. If they make it to the Super Bowl again they need to be more physical and less finesse. Who's going to be the new coach for NU?
